This is a very well regarded, high quality Italian made grinder. Gaggia are renowned as one of the greatest Italian espresso machine manufacturers, and this coffee grinder lives up to the legend. 40 Click stop settings from powder fine to very coarse. Ideal for every coffee making application from drip filter, syphon to espresso machines.
The MDF grinder is such a good, timeless design it is still in production- however this unit is a vintage one (1970's, 80's?)- and in our opinion is even better made than its modern counterpart (as is all to often the case we find...). Unlike the modern version the bean hopper on this machine can be pulled straight off allowing easy access to the commercial quality burrs for cleaning.
As you can see in the images this machine has a few small marks here and there, but the overall condition is excellent. The machine has been cleaned and tested and is working perfectly. The burrs are in fine condition indicating little previous use. The grinder has a doser, and also a portafilter holder. The holder can be removed if you don't use it. Ideal retro grinder for your vintage espresso machine set up- superb quality with a very quite motor. Nice 70's/80's post-modern futuristic styling (2001- a Space Odyssey?).
