The La Pavoni lever espresso machine are true icons of Italian design- and are still in production to this day.
The machine of offer here dates from the 1980's we think. The older Pavoni machines are often superior in quality than modern ones in many respects and this one is no exception: it has a solid brass boiler (chromed), brass piston, chromed steel base, and stainless steel drip tray cover. The machine is a Pro model with a pressure gauge and double element control switches.
It is in excellent condition showing few signs of use. As you can see it looks stunning. In addition it has been completely restored with all new piston seals, lever chamber seals, portafilter gasket, boiler descale, and overall clean. It is tested and working perfectly. The machine comes complete with small and large basket, portafilter and plastic tamper. Everything you need to get started making espresso the Pavoni way.
Cosmetically the machine is in good order, there are some marks and signs of use here and there. Underneath the drip tray there was a very little surface rust in the chrome (minor), this was treated and triple coated with clear enamel to prevent any more rust.
