This is a lovely old Italian made Moka pot. It is not like the common bialetti type pot that is made of two parts- this design has a basket that is packed, closed, and screwed into the alloy body of the machine. As you can see in the photos there are some light scuffs and marks to the polished alloy surface- however there is no damage and the moka pot has been cleaned and prepared for use. Inside is very clean and shows few signs of use. The bakelite handle is not burnt or damaged. We installed a food grade silicon seal on the basket- and tested it- it works perfectly, ready to be used again. The design and style of this coffee maker make me think it dates from the 1950's? or perhaps 60's?
