Spong No.2 Conical Burr coffee grinder. This can be mounted onto any bench/ledge easily with the clamp at the bottom, or it can be wall mounted. It has large conical burrs and is made of heavy cast iron.
The Spong grinders are solidly made: they will truly last a lifetime and beyond. They also grind coffee very well: there is a stepless adjustment lever at the rear of the grinder and it is very easy to adjust the grind from coarse to very fine (turkish), certainly fine enough for use with all espresso machines. The adjustments are infinite and produce precise particle sizes. This is especially important for espresso machines where the grind must be adjusted dependent on the coffee roast level and desired espresso shot.
As you can see this grinder is in fine condition, it does show some marking to the original black painted surfaces but these simply add a wonderful patina of age and authenticity. It has been disassembled and fully cleaned, tested and is working perfectly. Notably it is missing its original little metal dish that catches the coffee. You will need to find a suitable container to catch your freshly ground coffee.
