Rare Vintage ATOMIC COFFEE MAKER "B" Small MILAN Model 1947-1955?

Here is yet another superb vintage atomic coffee machine from the private Ikon Exports collection. This machine is a very rare small 'miniature' atomic. In fact as far as we know it is the smallest atomic type machine made. It dates from between 1947 to 1960, our best guess is the early 1950's. Several atomic models from Milan bore the "B" designation- and some of these early models were also small like this one. The small machines are very rare. There is no steam arm on this machine, it is strictly for black coffee... These B models were sold in Italy, Europe, the USA and Sears and Roebuck even sold them in Cuba before the revolution. The small model features a wonderful little hand shaped portafilter with beautiful lines. The bakelite part of the portafilter is also smaller than on later machines. This B model has the 'Milan B Brevetti Robbiati' label (brevetti simply means patent in Italian). The Atomic on offer here is in fine condition considering its age- and it is working perfectly. There are some marks to the polished surface, and other signs of age and use. However the polish is very good and the atomic label is in fine condition. Notably it is missing its original small jug, there are two jugs included as replacements: one vintage stainless steel jug of the same size and similar style to the original one, and a larger reproduction La Sorrentina TM brand atomic type jug. The machine has been cleaned and prepared for use: It comes with a brand new food grade silicon seal in the head, original filter plate with original screws and a brand new Sorrentina TM brand Bakelite water/safety valve knob (identical in form and material to the original).
