VESUVIANA Vintage 8 Cup Coffee Maker 1940's? Large Capacity for Display Only

Vesuvian in Italy made a large range of coffee machines based on this design. They seem to have continually produced machines from the 1930’s right up until the 1970’s. This example appears to be from the 1940’s, and is definitely one of the earlier designs. It is also the largest capacity coffee maker I have seen in the Vesuviana line. Unfortunately this one is missing its coffee handle- and there is a crack in the base of the boiler lid alloy (see photos). For these reasons it is offered as a display piece. The sand-cast alloy boiler is a wonderful thing: very unique styling and high standard of workmanship. It is cast in a single piece and very large (see photos with Atomic coffee maker for comparison).

A very rare Italian made coffee maker in any condition- this would look great in any collection.
