Vintage ATOMIC COFFEE MACHINE Bon Trading Import 1970's/80's?

Here is another vintage atomic coffee machine from the private Ikon Exports collection. This machine is an Italian made Atomic imported into Australia by the Bon Trading Co. It probably dates from the late 1970's or 80's. This Atomic was in superb condition for its age, and has received a complete service to ensure it is in perfect working order. As you can see in the images the atomic has a mirror like shine, it has been lightly polished, and completely cleaned. The Bon Trading label on the top is in absolutely perfect perfect condition it looks like new, which is rare. The bakelite handles are all original and in fine shape showing only light signs of age and heat, near mint. The jug and body are both very fine: no dents or scratches. The interior of the machine shows light signs of use. This Atomic comes with a brand new food grade silicon seal in the head, original filter plate (but with improved brass screws which won't rust) and a brand new La Sorrentina TM brand Bakelite water/safety valve knob (absolutely identical in form and function to the original, but with improved seals). The steam valve has a new pin and valve nut fitted as well as silicon seals, the steam arm is original with the larger nozzle. There are 3 different coffee baskets included: one Italian alloy large star pattern filter (this is vintage and slightly different than Sorrentina TM baskets), one small Sorrentina star pattern basket and one new large stainless steel filter basket (smaller holes, much better than the traditional vintage baskets and highly recommended for Atomics- this is the only basket you will ever need). The original valve pin, nut and head screws parts are included for the fastidious collector, you are getting an original machine, with it's original parts (see image below). A photocopy of the original Bon Trading instruction manual is also included free. We will also include a set of the new La Sorrentina atomic coffee maker instructions (much improved on the simple Bon manual).
