La Pavoni Europiccola Lever Espresso Machine- Rare 70's Classic Chrome Model- Restored
The La Pavoni lever espresso machine are true icons of Italian design- and are still in production to this day.
The machine of offer here dates from the late 1970’s or early 80's. The older Pavoni machines are often superior in quality than modern ones in many respects (what isn't?) and this one is no exception: it has a solid brass boiler (chromed), brass piston, chromed steel base, and stainless steel drip tray cover. The machine is the smaller Europiccola model.
Cosmetically the machine is in good order, there are some marks and signs of use here and there. There is a small amount of surface rust on the chrome where the drip tray sits (see photos)- often this area is badly rusted- in this case it is absolutely minimal and could be protected from further decay with a coat of clear varnish. This Pavoni has been used and shows some signs of its age and use. However there is no damage or signs of abuse. It is in excellent condition and has been serviced. It comes prepared with all new piston seals, new portafilter gasket, boiler descale, and overall clean. It is tested and working perfectly. The machine comes complete with small and filter large baskets, portafilter and a quality wood handled metal tamper. Everything you need to get started making espresso the La Pavoni manual lever way.
La Pavoni machine offer the user total control over the espresso production- they can be tricky to master- but the rewards are well worth it. Ideal for the espresso enthusiast or lover of great Italian design. Looks wonderful in any kitchen.
This machine is 220/40 volt and fitted with an Australian electrical plug.
